Water kit for van builds such as Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter and so on.
If you are planning on using an on-board water system, then this is a kit of the most popular items purchased from us for this
You may not have as many taps – or maybe a different water heater idea, however the principle of the drawing the same for most set ups
You can see form the pictures we have done a basic drawing of a common water system. As there is a Shurflo pressure pump in the kit there is no need for micro switches, simply supply the pump with a 12v feed, turn it on and the pump does the rest, keeping the pressure up until needed then kicks itself into action.
Please note this kit is for the how water system only – this heater does not supply a blow air heating system

The Kit Consists Of
- 1 x Fiamma Locking Water Filler Cap
(Filler point to be fitted on the outside on the van to fill the water tank) - 1m x 40mm Filler hose
(connects the filler cap to the Fiamma tank) - 1m x 3/8″ Breather hose
(joins from filler cap to the Fiamma tank) - 1 x Fiamma 70l On board water tank – Ideal size for fitting under bench seats internally
(comes with its own fitting kit) - 1m x 1/2″ Blue water hose.
(connects from the water tank to the Shurflo pump) - 1 x Shurflo 30PSI Pressure Water Pump with filter
(this comes with 1/2″ flexi fittings however we add the adapator in this kit to convert to push fit, see below) - 1/2″ BSP -12mm adaptor
(this converts the pump to 12mm push fit pipe) - 1 x Truma Ultrastore Gas & Electric Water Heater (10 Litre)
- 6 x John Guest 12mm Push Fit Tee’s
- 6 x John Guest 12mm Push Fit Straights – To connect kitchen, bathroom & shower taps
- 6 x John Guest 12mm Push Fit Elbows
- 1 x 12mm Push Fit – 3/8″ Flexi Adapter
(connects in to a plumbed in Thetford toilet from the push fit hose - 10m x 12mm Push Fit Hose Blue
- 10m x 12mm Push Fit Hose Red
- 2 x 1/2″ Jubilee Clips – To connect hose from water tank to water pump
- 3 x 3/8″ Jubilee Clips – to connect hose from water tank to filler cap & 3/8″ toilet adapter
